Responsible for overseeing both engineering and service departments within the company. This role involves managing technical projects, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the engineering and service teams to ensure effective performance and achievement of departmental goals.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for both departments to support overall business objectives.
  • Coordinate engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to support product launches and customer engagements.
  • Oversee service operations, including installation, maintenance, and repair services, to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Establish and maintain service level agreements (SLAs) with clients, and monitor performance against agreed-upon metrics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in engineering and service management roles, with a strong track record.
  • Technical expertise in engineering principles, with a focus on electrical.
  • Experience in managing service operations, including field service teams and customer support functions.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams

  • Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
  • Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products/services
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
  • Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations
  • Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
  • Collaborate with team to achieve better results
  • Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies

Requirements

  • Diploma/ Degree in Electrical/Electronics / Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or Science
  • Minimum 1 year working experience
  • Possess excellent communication & customers’ relationship skills
  • PC literate with Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

This engineering role is responsible for troubleshooting, providing technical support, and providing excellent customer service. They will work closely with the Field Service team to ensure that customer needs are met in a timely and professional manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform equipment on-site installation, measurement, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing.
  • Develop and implement equipment continuous improvement programs, preventive maintenance, modifications, and rectification works.
  • Liaise with customers on assigned jobs and execute daily tasks as instructed.
  • Follow instructions given by superiors and contribute to the team’s objectives.
  • Implement correct working methods, utilize appropriate tools, and adhere to safety regulations.
  • Provide end-user training on equipment operation and maintenance.

Qualifications

  • ITE/Diploma in Electrical/Electronic
  • Good planning and time management skills
  • Basic electrical technical knowledge
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Willing to work in cleanroom environment.
  • Team player with a positive work attitude
  • Experience with Engineering drawing using AutoCAD or SolidWorks will be of advantage.
  • At least one-year related working experience is an added advantage. (No experience are also welcomed)
